First Full Week Success

It's been a great week at Wine and Design of the Triad.  Great classes, great artists and I'm sure some great wine!  Take a look at what you missed.

Grand Opening

The doors are open and classes have started!  We are so excited that our Grand Opening Weekend was a success. 

Thursday night, we invited our closest friends, family and media to come out and join us for a night of food, wine and design.  Our in-house artist, Laurie Tester, led us through our "Tidewater" painting. 

Everyone, even the guys, had a great time.  We love how everyone put their own take on the piece selected.  Here is our group at the end of the night....with their work of art!

Friday night, our in-house artist, Chris Mayhew, instructed our "first class" through the red flower.  Eveyone had a great time, even our other in-house artists!

Another GREAT LOOKING group and another successgful night at Wine and Design Triad!

Saturday, our last day of open houses, artist, Mary Powell DeLille, led a group of children in painting the salboat.  How quickly Mary Powell was reminded  at how open-minded one must be when teaching children.  Children already have the idea of how they are going to create in their minds. 

Another successful afternoon with the kids and their sailboats!

Countdown

Well, there's been plenty of hammering and painting and cleaning going on in the Wine and Design Triad studio.  We are so excited for the finished work, but until then...here's a sneak peak!

Construction was completed on Friday with paints, easels and other important equipment being moved in over the weekend.  We can't wait to fill it up with friends and fans to paint your favorite design.

Just under two weeks and we'll  be open for our first class!  Have you signed up yet?  What do you want to paint?  Don't be shy...we promise you'll take home something you'll be proud to hang.

Uncork your Creativity – Bring your own bottle of wine (or beverage of choice) and enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with friends, fun, and fabulous art! You supply your cocktails, and we’ll supply the rest.

At WINE AND DESIGN, all you have to do is sign up, show up, sip up! Your canvas, paints, paintbrushes, and corkscrew will be waiting as a local artist helps you create that night’s featured painting. You go home with new friends, great memories, and a newly-created masterpiece that shows off your “inner artist.”

No experience in painting? No problem, our local artists will guide you step-by-step! Our paintings are suitable for the first-time painter or for more experienced artists.
